Five years after his previous LP release (gaijin, 2004), Vadim
Militsin aka AUTISM is back with a new album that displays his
ability to evolve through a diversity of tech novelties without losing touch with AUTISM's
original melodically-ecstatic electronica roots. future-proof present is a short yet nevertheless epic tale of love and
fear, narrated by a range of electronic beats, riffs and
noises. mantra 2209 incorporates samples from
the beautiful and ancient gayatri mantra, performed by German New Age artist
DEVA PREMAL.
Another highlight of the album, casha varis was built
up around a ritual song from an unnamed Peruvian shaman (curandero).
Most of the guitar riffs and solos on this record were contributed by REI4REAL, an Austrian guitarist and music producer.
A practical result of Vadim's passion for travelling the world,
visiting remote and spiritually-significant places, as well as browsing the web with its rare, obscure locations, this album introduces
the listener to a variety of vocal, speech and rhythm pieces that hail from both physical and
