EXURBAN, previously known as BETA-BLOCKER, arose in February 2007 in Germany. Hanne and Tanja wrote about themselves: "Our experimental style has been formed out of own dynamics.
Influences of reduced rhythms, textures and noises from the everyday
life flow in here among other things also with classical instruments.
Our aim is the fusion of picture and sound into new strange media as
also including poetic contents. Together we have gone onto this
terrain, in order to follow artistic expression in an experimental
manner according to our urge. Journeys into the mysterious, hidden
